In the heat of the political landscape in Ghana, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), emerged as a vocal figure urging a nation caught in the cadence of promises and politics to reconsider its path. Apexnewsgh reports

The stage was set during a fervent rally in Mamfe, a pivotal moment in his tour of the Akuapem North Constituency.

With a zeal matched by his conviction, Asiedu Nketiah unwrapped a narrative that sliced through the glossy veneer of manifestos and rhetoric that adorned the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). Central to his discourse was a sharp critique aimed at Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, a figurehead within the NPP, whom he branded a “serial liar” for a trail of promises left unfulfilled, echoing a consistent pattern that stirred discontent among the populace.

In an impassioned address, he reminded the gathering of a pledge dangling in the air like a broken promise – vehicles promised to motor riders but never materialized. The gasp of unmet expectations lingered palpably as he threw the gauntlet upon the ground, challenging Dr. Bawumia’s credibility and the party’s integrity. “Bawumia promised to give vehicles to motor riders in place of motors; ask him if he delivered. Where are the vehicles? He couldn’t deliver on the 2020 manifesto promises. Reject Bawumia and the NPP outright during the 2024 general elections. He will not deliver on his promise,” the words echoed with a resonance that seemed to reverberate beyond the crowded square.

The narrative weaved by the NDC Chairman extended beyond unfulfilled promises to the stark canvas of governance and stewardship. He painted a picture of a government adrift, lacking the compass to navigate Ghana’s resources effectively. With a firm hand and unwavering voice, he asserted that the ruling government had nothing novel to proffer, a narrative etched in dissatisfaction and a yearning for change.
