One of Alhaji Otito’s notable initiatives was providing meals to 2,500 BECE candidates and invigilators during the exam period, a first in the constituency’s history. Recognizing the importance of nourishment for the young exam-takers, he ensured that they were well-fed throughout the examination period, a move that garnered appreciation from the children’s parents.
In addition, when a rainstorm damaged several schools in the area, Alhaji Otito took it upon himself to reroof and even about to repaint four of these schools, a move to restore them to their former glory.
