The Upper East Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, has delivered a powerful message to the people of Pusiga and members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Apexnewsgh reports
He emphasized that nobody should be intimidated or threatened for wearing party T-shirts belonging to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia or Abdul Wahab Hanan in the Pusiga Constituency.
Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih stated, “I want to let you know that nobody in this country has the power to frustrate or threaten anybody from wearing any T-shirt of any political party. Once you are in love with any party, you can wear the party T-shirts.”
He further emphasized, “So please, you can wear NPP T-shirts with the image of His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia or that of Alhaji Hanan Abdul-Wahab and nobody has the right to threaten you. We will make the party T-shirts available to you, and it is our expectation that you will wear them.”
Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih assured the residents, “If anybody should threaten you, please do not hesitate to let us know, and we will let the person face the full force of the law. This country belongs to all of us, and the constitution of this country does not give power to any individual to threaten or prevent anybody from wearing a T-shirt. Wear your party T-shirts around communities and campaign.”
The Regional Minister has made a statement in response to rumors circulating that people are hesitant to wear campaign T-shirts featuring Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Alhaji Abdul Wahab Hanan in the Pusiga Constituency.
The Minister’s message serves as a call for unity and freedom of expression within the political landscape of Pusiga, emphasizing the importance of upholding individual rights and the rule of law.
On Wednesday, October 16, Dr. Hafiz Salih visited the Pusiga Constituency to show his support for Alhaji Abdul Wahab Hanan during the handover of the site to Pezoo Construction Limited. The company is responsible for phase 2 of the Pusiga-Bengula-Yariga-Widana road, specifically the Widana stretch.
