New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful Ken Ohene Agyapong has named Charles Cromwell Nanabanyin Onuawonto Bissue as his Campaign Administrator, effective immediately, as the contest for the party’s flagbearership heats up.
In a memorandum addressed to all campaign team members on October 14, Agyapong outlined Bissue’s core responsibilities and stressed the importance of structured coordination and strategic oversight in the campaign’s operations.
According to the memo, Bissue will be responsible for managing all aspects of campaign administration, ensuring smooth communication between various directorates and operational teams. He will also handle official campaign correspondence and documentation, process reports and submissions destined for Agyapong, and facilitate timely decision-making within the campaign hierarchy.
“All external campaign correspondence must now be routed through the Campaign Administrator’s office. Similarly, all internal communications, reports, or documents intended for my attention must first be submitted to him,” the statement read.
Agyapong expressed confidence in Bissue’s ability to instill “greater discipline, cohesion, and focus” within the campaign, calling on all members to fully cooperate with the new administrative structure.
Charles Bissue, known for his previous roles as a presidential staffer and General Secretary of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), is a familiar figure within the NPP and is expected to bring valuable organizational experience and political acumen to the position.
