Per the conference held on the 26th of August, 2023, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia came out with a resounding victory, capturing the hearts of the party members with an impressive 629 votes, translating to a staggering 68.15% of the total tally. In a surprising turn of events, Kennedy Agyapong emerged as the second most popular candidate, garnering 132 votes, equivalent to 14.30% of the votes cast.
Mr. Kyerematen, secured the third position, as he got 95 votes, indicating 10.29% of the total votes.
