Bawku Constituency deserves a party office and a van for party activities

Apexnewsgh

Ladies and Gentlemen of our great party NDC, first of all, I want to use this opportunity to wish every executive of our party from the branch to the National level, a happy new year and May Almighty Allah bless us all through this blissful year 2023 and may He make a way when there is no way for us and gives us long life to live and witness the defeat of the Elephant party come 2024 and beyond.

Four years ago, I tried my best to advocate for a party office to be built but it could not yield results due to some selfishness, greed, hypocrites and cowards within our party in the Bawku Central Constituency who sabotaged this agenda for their interest.

This time around, I will fight this course even if I’m alone in this. I’m very happy some men and women have shown interest to support this agenda through individual donations and human resources mobilization to ensure this agenda becomes a reality for our constituency to have a befitting constituency party office.

It is very heart aching to hear that, Bawku Central Constituency has no party office to conduct party day-to-day activities. Why should we as a party in BAWKU demean ourselves to this extent? Abaa!!

Can you imagine that all the constituency documents, party materials and party membership cards are all kept in our MP’s houses?

Do you know that party meetings and all party activities are held at the MP’s House? I’m not against the Mp having other meetings with party officials but not to that extent.

This is a party, not an individual organization and this goes to the MP Honourable Mahama Ayariga please desist from hosting party activities and party meetings in your residents if people close to you will not say it. I will personally tell you as a friend and a brother. People see you as monopolizing the party and I also personally see it as such.

Did you ask yourself why we have had party factions in Bawku for a long time without a resolution? This is one of the things you do that is causing all these problems.

Do you also ask yourself as an MP why the Parliamentary votes are dropping in the constituency? This is Because people are seeing that, you trying to control the entire party and monopolize everything for yourself and I also see you as such, because when you are not in the constituency nothing goes on and you also host and do everything that has to do with the party at your residence which is not supposed to be so.

Allow everyone to get access to you and also allow the constituency executive to have control of the party by lobbying for land or getting land for the party office to be built.

Hon. Mahama Ayariga, if today, you buy land and start to build an office for the party, then you ask for fundraising for all beneficiaries to contribute even members of the party will contribute.

It is also possible and it will happen if you should secure land for the project to start, all hands will come on deck because we have the following people who are also beneficiaries of the party.

1) We have Hon Musah Adulai Former MCE

2) Hon Bukari Issaku former MCE

3) Alhaji Mumuni Bolnaba who is also the party regional chairman for over 18 years now.

4) Hon Mahama Ayariga as an MP for the past 16 years in office and also occupies almost 60% of ministerial appointments under NDC.

All these great personalities can’t tell us they can’t afford to support us with some bags of cement for the party office to be built.

The second issue is the party van for party activity.
I heard the MP bought a pickup for the party and some individuals who were former executives turned those vehicles into their personal and private cars and refused to hand them over to the party. I don’t know how true this is, but if it is true, the current executives should do the needful to trace those cars back for the party because we need them for the party activities. And if it is not true the MP should get us one for the constituency or those having in mind to contest can also get us one because it is to their advantage.

POINT TO NOTE

This goes to all newly elected executives of the NDC in Bawku central, we are monitoring all of you and I also call on all Branch Executives to keep their eyes on all the constituency executives if they refuse to take control of the party and keep on having meetings in the MPs residents or doing party activities in the MPs residents vote them all out of the office and l will be the first person to lead that crusade of “operation vote them all out ” If the MP Want to meet you he should meet you at a party office for official meetings or better still rent a private place and meet you. This will create trust among the party ranks and file for unity going into the 2024 elections.

All party documents should be kept by the secretary that is if the party has no party office, not at the MP’s residence.

Long live NDC
Long live the Bawku constituency
Long live JDM

With a United party, we shall achieve all we want.
