In a letter dated 26th April 2023, signed by the Northern DVLA Manager Abdulai Mutawakil which was directed to the Northern Regional Minister, all Vehicle road user who falls victim to the below options will be prohibited from using the road from Monday, May 1, 2023.
Driving without an original license, if you do not have a license at all, driving with an expired license, driving with a photocopied license, driving with a fake license or using the wrong class of license.
The letter says, no exemptions except for vehicles for the police, prison, fire, military and immigration registered number plates.
