The former Ambassador for Morocco and Upper East Regional Minister-designate Stephen Yakubu has said, there is need for a collective effort by everyone from in and outside the region to help bring development in the region.
The Regional Minister designate in an interview told Apexnewsgh.com that development does not come so easily as he extended his call to the people Upper East Region to support him. He believes all the 16 regions across the country are hungry for developmental projects and they can only succeed with unity and oneness.
However, he appreciated the work of his predecessors, adding that he is only coming to contribute his quota by continuing from where they stopped.
Mr. Stephen Yakubu is nominated as the Upper East Region Minister in his second term in office, He will be taking over from Madam Tangoba Abayage who was appointed by the President to replace the former Upper East Regional Minister Rockson Bukari.
