Former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko has rejected media reports suggesting he has stepped down from the upcoming run-off with Francis Addai-Nimoh.
The former Energy Minister says Lailai, he is ready for Saturday’s polls and nothing will change his mind.
He is not stepping down and is fully prepared for the run-off.
He stated that the reports were false and intended to confuse and mislead the public. He emphasized that he is committed to the electoral process and is confident in his chances of winning the run-off.
Mr. Agyarko expressed his gratitude to his supporters and urged them to remain steadfast in their support for him. He also called on the media to exercise professionalism and accuracy in their reporting.
The run-off between Mr. Agyarko and Mr. Addai-Nimoh is scheduled for Saturday, September 2. The winner will join the four other candidates who have already secured their places in the NPP Presidential Primary.
