I’ll strip you naked after Akufo-Addo’s inauguration – Ken Agyapong starts new Amidu ‘beef’

Maverick politician and businessman Kennedy Agyapong has vowed to strip former Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu naked soon after the inauguration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. “The things that are embedded in me are boiling. You, Martin Amidu, wait for Akufo-Addo to be sworn into office first. The way I will strip him naked…the plans he had against NDC. The NDC should be careful. He planned with Rawlings to make sure that Mahama loses the election then he Amidu and Zanetor will take over the party,” he revealed on NET2 TV monitored by MyNewsGh.com. It would be recalled the firebrand from the onset was averse to the appointment of Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Martin. A.B.K Amidu as the Special Prosecutor. The maverick politician who raised red flags over the choice of the personality who is a known member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), was at a loss as to why members of the party are hailing the appointment indicating that it is a looming disaster about to explode and could scuttle the fortunes of the party in future elections. “Celebrate Martin Amidu, he will soon come after the very party that appointed him. Martin Amidu is like Circuit Training based on Animal Flow Workouts. You train the animal and one day, one day it will attack and kill its owner. That is what will happen,” he revealed on Adom TV in January last year during a panel discussion. “Ghanaians are jubilating Martin Amidu. Wow! Because of what Ghanaians want I will not comment. You know how animals are trained in circuits, don’t you? We live in this country to see one day… I shall be vindicated. They do not know what is ahead of them. Go ahead and hail Amidu. The Man who made him a Minister see how he embarrassed him and now a prosecutor? No further comment,” he added. NPP gave contracts to Rawlings – Kennedy Agyapong blows alarm

Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has expressed anger at the fact that NPP contractors were denied contracts in the party’s first term but former President Jerry John Rawlings was given several contracts. The maverick politician who believes that the leadership of the NPP and appointees by the President were not fair to party members in the party’s first term said he was shocked when he realized that Rawlings was been given contracts. He said when Rawlings coughs, appointees of Akufo-Addo would run for reasons unknown to him. “Honestly some things make me angry. Even Rawlings was given contracts in our first term. A number of things baffle me especially about the way we treated the party. Look at the work Akufo-Addo did, Akufo-Addo cannot do everything by himself that is why he appointed these people but they worked to satisfy their arrogance.” The lawmaker cum businessman said apart from Rawlings, other persons who are known members of the opposition NDC were given contracts at the expense of members of the NPP whose monies were used in financing the party. He believes that as a party there is the need to empower its contractors rather claiming they are not good because they need to build on the experience of jobs. The Assin Central Member of Parliament gave an indication that in 2021, the members of the party will not condone any form of arrogance from appointees. ‘We’ll burn all your houses’ – Kennedy Agyapong warns Mahama, others

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the MP for Assin Central has threatened to burn the houses of former President John Dramani Mahama and some NDC bigwigs, claiming without evidence that the NDC is burning the markets. On Wednesday, the National Investigations Bureau released Eric Adogla, the driver of Peter Otokunor, an NDC Deputy General Secretary, without charge after arresting and detaining him on Monday. “Mahama, let me tell you, you stay at Chain Homes, which belongs to Alhaji Seidu Agongo. You cannot go and burn somebody’s fourteen stalls and go scot-free. Mahama, Asiedu Nketia, Akamba, Baba Jamal, you should be careful, else we’ll burn your houses too,” Kennedy Agyapong said on ‘The Dialogue’ show on Net 2 TV, Wednesday, December 23. He added, “If it continues like that, Mahama we’ll burn your house and if you don’t take care, we’ll burn you the human being. We cannot allow these things to go on in this country.” Agyapong alleged that the NDC has indicated that, “between now [Wednesday] and Saturday, they said they will be burning the Kumasi market, and burn Cape Coast market. What is going on in this country?” He warned the former president to simply relocate from his Chain Homes residence else he will gather people to the place and burn his property. He further warned Lt. Col. Larry Gbevlo-Lartey (Rtd.), a former NDC appointee, to also be on guard else his East Legon property which is just closer to his will be razed down by fire. Not even the caution from the host of the show could restrain the MP from making more scandalous statements about the leaders of the opposition party. “If they burn any market again, Mahama Chain Homes is there; do you think you are the [only] ones that can organise? I now dare you [Mahama], Asiedu Nketia, Gbevlo-Lartey, Akamba and Baba Jamal…if we hear any burning in any part of the country, Mahama we’ll burn your house,” he stressed. Akufo-Addo’s ministers sharing contracts to their children who contribute nothing to NPP – Angry Agyapong

Assin Central Lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong, is peeved that Ministers under the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration are now giving contracts to their children who did not contribute a penny to the development of the party. “Ministers are giving contracts to their children. I want to ask you, how many of you have your children joining the campaign in this country? We use children of other people to campaign and after the campaign, we throw them away without helping them.” He fumed on NET 2 monitored by MyNewsGh.com According to him, these Ministers are the reason why Members of Parliament(MPs) are currently struggling in their constituencies because they do not help them by providing them with opportunities that will ensure that they satisfy their constituents. “Today some MPs are begging like children in their campaigns because the party didn’t help them. The Ministers are selfish and give opportunities to their people. If there is an opportunity available, the Ministers for their parochial interest give the opportunities to their people without giving the MPs and that has been a worry.” He noted that when the NPP came to power, they ignored the invincible forces and Delta Boys and although they need them now, they cannot go in to look for them because the boys will not be willing to help them out.
