NDC is the most dangerous party in Ghana – Mustapha Hamid

Minister for Inner City and Zongo Development Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid has described the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the most dangerous party in Ghana. According to the former Minister for Information, the NDC has gained notoriety for fighting and rejecting every good policy that will benefit the vast majority of Ghanaians. He recounted that when the John Agyekum Kufuor administration introduced the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), the party’s parliamentarians walked out of Parliament when the House was about to endorse the initiative. Similarly, he said, when oil was discovered in commercial quantities, the NDC also rejected the news and described it as palm oil and not crude. They did the same when the free senior high school was introduced, he said. “NDC is the most dangerous party in Ghana because every good policy that is coming to Ghana they fight it,” he said at a press conference in Accra on Monday, November 30. He added: “They fought the discovery of oil in commercial quantity. When we introduced the National Health Insurance Scheme, they walked out of Parliament. “With free SHS they even went to the Supreme Court to attempt to block the implementation and also sponsored over 40 adverts against the programme. Any good policy that will benefit the vast majority of Ghanaians the NDC don’t support it. “Mahama has no shame taking credit for free SHS after he sponsored over 40 adverts against the implementation. He has no consistency,” he said. 3 news Please kindly contact Apexnewsgh.com on Email: apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications

Government introduces specialised 4-passenger motorcycles for Okada riders

The government has outdoored specialised four-passenger quadricycles to drivers and Okada riders on hire-purchase for use as public transport. The Bajaj Qute vehicles, according to a report by Citi News were outdoored on Saturday, November 28, 2020, by the Coastal Development Authority (CODA). According to the report, Chief Executive Officer for CODA, Jerry Ahmed Shaib, said the vehicles were outdoored as part of the CODA Drive initiative to eradicate poverty and create wealth for commercial drivers as well as okada and Pragya riders. “The operation of CODA Drive will initially be concentrated in rural areas and city outskirts in the six regions of the Coastal Development Zone,” the report said. At the height of the debate on whether to legalise the Okada business or not, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia proposed to offer new cars to the Okada riders on a lease basis. According to the Vice President, Okada was a risky business and he was confident that the cars will offer them safety as commercial drivers. The CODA initiative is also expected to help address road safety within the Coastal Development Zone. Government has taken a hard line against legalising the Okada business on grounds that their activities have led to numerous road accidents. Former President John Dramani Mahama, who is the incumbent President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo‘s main contender in the upcoming elections on December 7 has promised to legalise Okada if elected. EXCLUSIVE: With Hon Inusah Fuseini On NPP Size Of Ministers And What NDC Might Do

The Member of Parliament for Tamale Central constituency and the former Minister for Lands and Natural Resources in the Mahama’s administration in an exclusive interview with Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com said the Akufo the large number of President Akufo Addo Ministers was the first Manifestation of the fact that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo did not intend to keep his promises to Ghanaians. He said, even though the Akufo Addo- Bawumia led government used about 130 ministers, he wasn’t able to accomplish anything as a government, stressing that the NDC government will scale down the number to 80,85 or at least 90 ministers of States “The first indication we have that Nana Akufo Addo was a deception when he had told us that he was going to protect the public purse and given the opportunity, he appointed the largest number of Ministers and other appointees in the history of Ghana. That was the first manifestation of the fact that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo -Addo did not intend to keep his promises.” “Now, there is no coronation between the number of Ministers that you appoint and what you are able to accomplish as a government. If not, Nana Akufo Addo would have accomplished a lot, because he has appointed up to about 130 ministers but, he’s got nothing to show for it.” “With 85 ministers under John Dramani, we have a lot to show for it, it goes to show clearly that you required people with zeal, dedication, energy, and commitment towards bettering the lives of fellow Ghanaians to be in the offices to be able to deliver the promises made by the president. So, an NDC government will definitely scale down the number of Ministers that will be appointed into office.” “There is no reason to appoint 5 ministers for one ministry in the instance of the Ministry of Agric, there is no reason, so we will scale down the number of Ministers and ensure that energetic, committed, and zealous people are put into offices to deliver on the public goods that will move Ghana in the right direction.” “We have worked with 80 and 85 ministers of State. So, definitely, the number of ministers who will be appointed will be below 100, will be 90, might be below 85 because John Dramani Mahama intends to deliver on the campaign promises and he intends to that with the smallest number of ministers, he intends to ensure that public offices civil servants who are responsible for the ministries will put their heads together and get the promises delivered by the policymakers of the NDC and that is the ministers of state. The NDC government will work with the smallest number of Ministers to achieve a lot because we have done it before and we can do it again” He said Apexnewsgh.com/ghana/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen Please kindly contact Apexnewsgh.com on Email: apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications

Disregard the purported Ministerial appointment, is NPP plan to divide us- Inusah Fuseini

The Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Hon. Inusah Fuseini has cleared the air following the purported ministerial appointment list dated November 26, 2020 captured by Apexnewsgh.com making rounds on social media. Mr. Fuseini told Apexnewsgh.com in an exclusive interview, that no opposition Presidential aspirant will make a ministerial appointment before going in for an election. “…no President appoints people when he is going for an election, it doesn’t happen that way, disregard the Ministerial appointment list-making rounds on social media, it is just NPP propaganda. It cannot happen, even before you nominate somebody for any appointment, you must consult that person. But, i can assure you that for now, the former President Mahama is focused on winning the 2020 election and after that process, he will surely appoint people to work with.” He explained He believes, the purported Ministerial appointments lists as he described it, is a calculated strategy by the NPP to initiate some kind of division within the NDC family. However, Mr. Fuseini insisted that John Dramani Mahama he knows, cannot do such a thing before elections because he is a man of dignity.
