As part of his annual humanitarian initiative of rendering a helping hand to the vulnerable, a Human Rights award-winning freelance journalist and director of Apexnews Gh Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen with the assistance of few individuals in the Upper East Region have handed over some undisclosed amounts of Ghanaian cedis to the family of a widow and her two crippled daughters. According to Mr. Ngamegbulam, the condition of the family was a terrible one that demands some level of urgent attention. “The family only son who happened to be the family breadwinner died somewhere 8 months ago and since then, life has become so unbearable to the family, eating has become a problem, their shelter has turned to nothing than a death trap. I mean you could see the suffering this particular family is going through each blessed day”. Mr. Ngamegbulam expresses Meanwhile, according to their widow mother Madam Janet Nsoh Abotsi, the condition of her cripple children seems to be spiritual because they were not naturally born crippled. One of her cripple daughters Paulina was 20 years old when she and the family witnessed her regrettable cripple situation whiles Ayine received her share of the deformity at the age of 13 and since then, the family has been in such a humiliating struggle to date. However, according to Mr. Ngamegbulam, even though he had already planned his 2021 humanitarian activity somewhere in May 2021, immediately after listening to the heartbreaking story of the widow and her cripple children, he decided to channel all his attention on the family as part of his annual humanitarian project for 2021. He also used the medium to call on well-meaning personalities and NGOs within and outside the country to come to the aid of the family, because a lot needs to be done to address the important needs of the family. Madam Janet after receiving the undisclosed amount of money on Wednesday prayed and expresses gratitude to Mr. Ngamegbulam and those who contributed in cash and kind, as she added her voice by calling on Ghanaians to further come to their aide. MTN and Mastercard empower millions in Africa to make payments
The MTN Group and Mastercard has announced a strategic partnership to enable millions of consumers in 16 countries across Africa to make global e-commerce payments safely and securely. “Through a Mastercard virtual payment solution linked to MTN MoMo (Mobile Money) wallets, consumers and merchants can engage with brands and businesses abroad through digital commerce, extending their reach to an international marketplace and unlocking a host of opportunities,” it said. A joint statement issued by the MTN Group and Mastercard said across Sub-Saharan Africa, mobile devices were the primary channel used to connect to the internet and that according to GSMA, by 2025, it was estimated that there would be 300 million more people using their devices to access internet services. “In light of this significant growth, mobile financial services have become the dominant form of digital payments, with twice as many mobile money accounts as bank accounts in the region. As a result, consumers increasingly expect to have access to a broader range of digital financial services,” it stated. The statement said, however, consumers and merchants were mostly restricted to a local base of online and offline businesses, therefore curtailing customers’ ability to engage in global commerce. It said through this strategic partnership, MTN customers with a Mastercard virtual payment solution linked to their MoMo wallets can make payments to global online merchants through a seamless and secure digital payment experience on websites and mobile applications and that the service was available regardless of whether or not the customer has a bank account. The statement said the solution would enable consumers to explore and shop at well-known global e-commerce brands and pay quickly and securely for leisure shopping, travel, accommodation, entertainment, streaming services and more. It would also allow small business owners to purchase from suppliers abroad and pay with the virtual payment solution. “We are very excited about this partnership with Mastercard, which is another step in realizing our ambition to build Africa’s largest fintech platform, accelerating economic and social development through digital innovation to the benefit of citizens across the continent and beyond,” the MTN Group said. Wa to get passport office ahead of Upper East Region- What is the secret, Upper West is shining more than Upper East?
Upon all the requests made to the past and present government by the people of the Upper East Region for an active passport application office in the region, which they say, will enable them reduce the risk and stress of traveling to Tamale in the Northern Region for passport application each day. Mohammed Habibu Tijani, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has said passport application centers will soon be opened in Cape Coast and Wa to ease the stress of acquiring the identity and traveling document in the country. According to Mr. Tijani, the government had migrated to online platforms as far as the application of passport in the country was concerned for effective service delivery. Speaking at the second series of a virtual Result Fair in Accra, Mr. Tijani said the government had increased the validity of the Ghanaian passport from five years to 10 years to conform to international practice. He said there were few application centers across the country, with each having its peculiar challenge, leading to undue delays in the acquisition of passports and exploitation of applicants by the “goro boys” or the middlemen. Mr. Sabi reiterated the government’s resolve to ensure that the processes leading to passport acquisition were made in an effective and efficient manner. He said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration had from March 1, 2020, ceased all manual passport application operations. The Ministry directed all applicants subsequently to purchase the online passport application platform from its website; passport.mfa.gov.gh for their applications. He said with the online application platform (passport.mfa.gov.gh), one would need to create an account and make the payment, after which the form will be sent to the email. However, Mr. Tijani also reiterates that online passport application is now available at all Passport Application Centres in the country. Dimension 6 is where the Humans that were created 66million years ago live. Dimension 7 is where our own contemporaries live – that is, Humans created on this present Earth in the past 6000 years. Presently, Dimension 7 is occupied by people we know as Dead Humans. They left this material Earth and went to our permanent home in Dimension 7. Now, the conflict between the two Dimensions is because of Religion. Dimension 6 Humans helped the Angels to design our world religions. NDA is alleviating poverty in Upper East through their developmental projects- Patrick Seidu

Volta Regional Minister assures active security to the people of Volta.
The Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Letsa has assured active security to the people of the Volta Region. Dr Archibald Letsa who spoke to a Bolgatanga base radio station on their afternoon news bulletin popularly known as Reporters Visit (RV) monitored by Apexnewsgh.com, says the country’s security forces were very much aware of a series of planned attacks by Western Togoland Restoration Front, the separatist group seeking secession from Ghana. According to Dr. Letsa, the nation’s security forces had pre-empted the Friday morning attack by securing vital installations in the region from the group, and it was suspected that the roadblocks at the Mepe-Sege road and the Accra-Ho road at Juapong were designed as a distraction to draw the security forces away from those locations. “We have been monitoring them for some time now, especially for over two years. Some relief for University graduates with Education certificates
Over the years in Ghana, government upon government have treated University graduates with certificates in Education like an outcast, the discrimination between graduates who passed through colleges of Education and graduates who passed through Universities are like the war between Iran and Iraq. But because of the inhumane discrimination, University graduates in the education Universities across the country had over the years register dissatisfaction over the gross neglect by government and leadership. According to the University graduates, teachers across the 46 colleges of education are given more attention yearly even after been catered for by the government by way of receiving an allowance and other incentives. Speaking in an interview, Ghana Minister of Education Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh said the recruit of teachers will consist of teacher trainees who have completed their one-year national service and have also passed the license examinations. He further stated that the Ministry has received some financial clearance for the posting of University graduates who specialized in educational courses. However, the Education Minister revealed that University graduates will be posted to various senior high schools to teach their various subjects, while those with university Basic Education, early childhood, and all basic course certificates will be posted among the teacher trainees to teach in the basic and post Basic school starting from the kindergarten, Primary, and Junior High School. This development came as a result of the serious needs of teachers in the education sector. He said the Ministry opened a portal for the 2018/ 2019 graduates from the teacher training to apply for the recruitment. However, stressed that in the course of recruitment, the ministry will be considering the University Education graduates since there are more vacancies in the Education sector. He said measures had been put in place to post 16000 teacher trainees and 6500 university graduates to fill the vacant position in the various sectors. he gave us some measures that will be taken place to post all University graduates.
