NPP Delegate: Ntim, John Boadu, Salam, Nana B, Asobayire, Kate to be declared winners–Gabby predicts

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is expected to holds its National Delegates Conference today to elect fresh executives to steer the party affairs for the next 4 years.

Meanwhile, as that is about to happen, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko a leading member of the party has predicted those he thinks are likely to announce winners of in some key contested positions.

In a post sighted on Mr. Otchere-Darko social media handle, he tipped Stephen Ayensu Ntim, who is contesting the chairmanship position for the 5th time, to beat his contenders and finally clinch victory.

He also tipped the incumbent General Secretary of the party, John Boadu to beat competition from 4 others including former Tamale Mayor, Iddrisu Musah and Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Justin Frimpong Kodua to retain his position.

For the National Organizer contest, Mr. Otchere-Darko is placing his bet on Henry Nana Boakye, who is the outgoing National Youth Organizer, to win.

Rita Talata Asobayire and Kinston Akomeng Kissi, the NPP’s stalwart predicted, will emerge as First and Second Vice Chairpersons respectively.

The incumbent National Women’s Organizer, Kate Gyamfua, in his projection, will retain her position in the contest.

For the National Youth Organizer race, Mr. Otchere-Darko tipped Salam Mustapha to beat his contenders; Abanga Fuseini Yakubu, Prince Kamal Gumah and Michael Osei Boateng, and emerge winner of that contest.

These predictions he made, according to him, are based on “delegates’ sentiments”.

“Those I tip to win the NPP contests Saturday, per delegates’ sentiments, are: Ntim for Chair; JB for GS; Nana B for Organiser; Kate for Women; Dr. China for Treasurer; Rita and Kissi for Vice Chairs; Salam for Youth. Wishing all candidates best of luck!” he stated.

The NPP will, from toady, July 16 to tomorrow, July 17, hold its National Delegates Conference at the Accra Sports Stadium in the national capital to among others elect national executives. As many as 46 candidates are seeking the mandate of the party’s delegates to occupy 10 executive positions.

The delegates from various parts of the country have arrived in Accra ahead of the event and will today make the crucial decision of who gets the nod to hold which position as the party is poised to win the 2024 general elections.
