Former President John Mahama Suicide has said suicide is not the answer to the current hardship in Ghana,
Mr. Mahama who was commenting on the recent self-electrocution by a frustrated man at Kasoa in the Central Region, posted on his Facebook wall said: “I returned from a trip to hear the sad news of Kakra, who killed himself by electrocution”.
He further said: “The current levels of hardship in Ghana is dire and probably the worst we have ever experienced in the last three decades, but suicide is never the answer”, Mr Mahama said.
Meanwhile, encouraging Ghanains, he said: “Even in the darkest night, there will always come the dawn”.
“The sun will rise again. Let’s be each other’s keeper. Let’s keep hope alive!”
