The Member of Parliament for Zebilla East, Cletus Apul Avoka, has condemned the NDC’s leadership reshuffle in parliament.
According to the Zebilla lawmaker, the party should have focused on galvanizing the party for the fight against the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to win the 2024 elections instead of making heroes out of nonentities.
Hon. Avoka’s pronouncement came after the party leadership decided to change Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu with Cassiel Ato Forson, MP for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam and Muntaka Mubarak, the minority Whip.
Meanwhile, Speaking on Citi TV monitored by Apexnewsgh.com, Hon. Avoka did not hide his impression on the decision taken by the party leadership, “this is not the time to make nobody a somebody, this is not the time to make nobody a somebody, this is the time to galvanize all of us to fight the NPP so that we can win elections not to make heroes out of nonentities, this is not the time,”.
Aside, Hon. Avoka, some other well-meaning party members of the NDC have raised issues about the sudden changes
