ADAM-GH is Civil Society Organization is asking the the President of the Republic to deal with the corruption in his government in honor of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings.

“ADAM-GH believes that Sending the AGYAPA scandal back to parliament is just an extension of the implementation of the scandal. We call it fraud, scandal, dubious deal, and elite capture syndrome which must be resisted by all Ghanaians.”
“Those of us coming from the three traditional Northern Regions will forever be grateful to Flt. J J Rawlings and his party he found for the love and care shown to us. Our parents used to travel three to four days from Accra to any part of the three traditional Northern Regions due to the bad nature of our roads, the symbols for travelers those days were swollen legs after they arrived from their four 4 days journey. No decent commercial cars apply these roads those days, no electricity nor good drinking water.”

DEAL WITH CORRUPTION AND SCANDALS IN YOUR GOVERNMENT CURRENTLY IN HONOUR OF LATE PRESIDENT J J RAWLINGS, ADAM-GH TELLS PRESIDENT NANA ADDO. Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement Ghana (ADAM-GH) a civil society organization that fights corruption, anchors proper Democratic principles, and ensuring good governance said, the Late Flt J. J Rawlings played a very significant role in this our Democratic dispensation in this 4th Republic. Ghana is seen as a beacon of Democracy because of J. J Rawlings’s selfless love he has for this country Ghana. The demise of our hero Ftl. J. J Rawlings undoubtedly, is a big blow to the poor and vulnerable of our Ghanaian society and Africa as a whole because Rawlings was a true representative of the voiceless and the vulnerable in his high office as president and former President. Ghanaians are grieved and mourning the sad demise of Late Flt. Former President J J Rawlings and are given real testimonies of who he was, his love for the vulnerable, care for the poor, and bridging the gap between the poor and the rich, the elite group and the ordinary, the North and the South. Rawlings fought corruption with his emotions in his government when he was President. This man was having a mindset that, those given the opportunity to serve our country Ghana must not steal from the state coffers to enrich themselves but to create a rich environment for all Ghanaians especially the less privileged. Rawlings didn’t understand why other class of citizens in Ghana uses clean water to flush toilets and others drinks from rivers together with animals, Rawlings did not understand why electricity is connected to certain Cemeteries and most communities have no lights etc.

Today if you can take flight or sit comfortably in your VVIP cars and commercial cars to any of the three traditional Northern Regions in and fro, say ayikoo to Rawlings. The people in the three traditional Northern Regions adopted the party NDC as a household party which he found, is because Rawlings was society oriented instead of family and friends oriented. We are also calling on the leadership of his party NDC to continue Rawlings societal oriented and his social justice principles and not to deviate from the very principles that emerged and gave birth to the party he found. Rawlings Built all Regional Hospitals in Ghana, University of Development Studies (UDS), Major highways across the country, Schools and all social amenities in the country including the enhancement of the Northern scholarship and others just to mention few. Our country telecommunication system and mobile phones we are all enjoying today are his handiworks. He fought corruption in his government through the seizure of individual properties who passes through dubious means to acquire them and some them were slapped all in the interest of the general public. Controversy over Rawlings book of condolence, today if Government and the opposition party NDC which Rawlings found are fighting over the book of condolence, it’s because of Rawlings selfless and dedicated service to this Nation, with his probity and accountability and social justice principles.* Anchoring Democracy Advocacy Movement Ghana (ADAM-GH) is wishing Rawlings farewell, we are also hereby, calling on the President Nana Addo to deal with the corruption allegations in his government by canceling the AGYAPA scandal entirely and subject the finance minister Ken Ofori Atta who is his blood relative to investigation for creating this dubious scandal called AGYAPA and Ghc2.25 billion bond he awarded to himself. ADAM-GH believes this action of the President will be in honor of Rawlings who hates corruption rather than fighting over his book of condolence. The President family members who flooded the seat of government and led this country to the dubious PDS scandal where we hand over our Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to PDS for 8 months and Ghana lost USD 190 million grant and Charles Bisiew gallamsey bribery case reported by Anas Aremeyaw’s Tiger Eye PI is a true indication that the Presidency under President Nana Addo is a center for corruption currently in Ghana. If J J Rawlings is being celebrated today due to his anti corrupt nature, his love for the poor, his social justice, and being the people’s man, it is because he did not prioritize the welfare of his immediate family over Ghanaians but because of his selfless service and sacrificed to the improvement of the living conditions of the ordinary citizens. He would not have been celebrated as a hero if he were to run a family government, capture the country gold royalties for his blood relations and they call it AGYAPA and allow his daughters to register a company and call it my sister’s Keepers foundation for their future welfare and not the general good of Ghanaians.
ADAM-GH believes that Sending the AGYAPA scandal back to parliament is just an extension of the implementation of the scandal. The then-candidate Nana Addo in 2016 promised Ghanaians that” I will use Anas Aremeyaw Anas Tiger eye PI principles to fight corruption in my government”. Ghanaians are astonished now seeing the same President Nana Addo government fighting the individuals and institutions that are fighting corruptions in the country which led to the murder of Ahmed Suale, Manasseh Azure resigned and flew to South Africa just to save his life’ Yaw Domelevo as Auditor’s General was forced out of office by President Nana Addo for investigating his Senior Minister Yaw Osarfo Mafo over USD1 million corruption deal and Finally, Martin Amidu threatened and his life at danger after a given report on AGYAPA scandal.
It is undeniable fact that all serious anti-corruption institutions and individuals fighting corruption and scandals in Ghana have suffered the wrath of Nana Addo Government one way or the other. If you can not fight corruption, allow other volunteers to fight you don’t threaten and killing them. Per what is happening, anybody who will argue that President Nana Addo is not corrupt is only being dishonest and mischievous. The following are a few of the popular corruption cases:
