In a recent ruling, the Court of Appeal has dismissed an appeal filed by Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, seeking to reverse a High Court decision that dismissed a contempt case against Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. Apexnewsgh reports

The appeal was struck out due to non-compliance with the court’s rules.

The three-member panel, chaired by Justice Cynthia Pamela A. Koranteng, and comprising Justice Afia Serwah Asare-Botwe and Justice Kweku Tawiah Ackaah-Boafo, ruled that the grounds of appeal were “incompetent” and therefore struck out.

The court also awarded a cost of GHc3,000 against Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, the Secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral, over the failed appeal.

Prior to the ruling, the panel overruled an objection raised against the panel and allegations made against the Chief Justice. This decision marks a significant development in the ongoing legal battle between Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
