In a heartening display of solidarity, the Minister extended a hand of friendship to all who champion the development of the Upper East Region. His gesture of goodwill was further underscored by the donation of streetlights, a beacon of safety and security, to the Regional Education Office.
However, amidst the shining promises, clouds of challenges loomed. The resolute Director of Education, Mr. Bright A. Lawoe, seized the moment to outline the hurdles faced by the Ghana Education Service in the region. The decrepit state of the regional office block stood out as a poignant symbol of neglect, alongside the daunting specter of unresolved land encroachment.
Undaunted by the complexities presented, the Minister, with unwavering resolve, promised to address these pressing issues. “Write to the Ministry through my office,” he instructed the Regional Director, his gaze steely with determination. “And provide a comprehensive report on the encroachment. We shall summon the Municipal Chief Executive for vital input.” He stressed
