The anger of residents of Binduri and Zebila Constituency in the Upper East Region is increasingly growing as they question when their names would be captured back into the new voter’s register.
The voter exhibition exercise in these areas have seen some level of irregularities in most polling centres across the district, to the extent of not seeing any name in most polling stations
A place like Binduri, voter register of 24 out of 80 Polling Stations is either seen empty or more names missing Apexnewsgh.com has gathered.
Residents of Tempielim who spoke to our reporter on the ground, said their area has only two polling stations. The Tempielim Deeper Life and Tempielim Primary School.
According to them, Tempielim Deeper Life Church has 428 registered voters but there was no register for the EC officials to carry out the exhibition at the time of filling this report, but Independent checks within EC officials and party indicate that no single name was captured in the new register.
Most residents who poured their frustration said the moves, is plan by EC to denied them the opportunity to exercise their franchise come December 7.
However, the angry residents in Binduri told our reporter that, their next action is a demonstration to register their displeasure over what they described as ‘kululu’ by the EC.
