Journalist Donates to Widows and Orphans Movement

Agana Simon Azongo an award-winning journalist with WordFM a Bolgatanga base radio station in the Upper East Regional capital has donated assorted items to widows with the Widows and Orphans Movement (WOM).

According to the illustrious journalist, he believes putting a smile in the faces of these widows is a way of contributing his quota to his mothers.

“As a journalist in the media fraternity, I think this is my small quota to my mothers. For whatever purposes I have being touched to do it, it should be accomplished”. He spoke
“I also want to use the opportunity to call on everybody, it doesn’t matter how much you have, no matter how small your contribution is, it has a tendency of putting a smile on somebody’s face. So, let’s put a smiling face on somebody, and definitely God will be happy. He admonished

The Director of Widows and Orphan Movement (WOM) Fati Abdulai who received the donation on behalf of the widows, expressed satisfaction with the kind gesture shown by the award-winning and illustrious journalist.

“These are even hard times, day in day out we get people coming in for different kinds of help and food is usually priority on the list and so, we are so grateful that you made this donation.”
However, she used the opportunity to call on other well-meaning Ghanaians to continue remembering the Widows and Orphan Movement as they go by their daily activities.
The Widows after handed over the items were full of excitement and they extended their appreciation to Mr. Simon Agana of Word FM for his kind donation.

Meanwhile, the items include Rice, Oil, soap, and some quantity of used cloths popularly known in Ghana as Folds.
