The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East Constituency, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has reaffirmed that come 2025, he will be returning back to parliament with former President John Dramani Mahama. He said the people of Bolga East Constituency will not risk waiting to be in opposition for another 8 years.
Dr. Ayine made the pronouncement on Sunday December 3, 2023 during a brief ceremony where he commissioned boreholes at Kunkwa Asonge, and two other communities in the district.
Addressing the community members, Dr. Ayine stressed that the people of Bolga East Constituency will notrisk waiting to be in opposition for another 8 years.
The Member of Parliament who appeared very optimistic said, “John Mahama is coming back to power in 2025. You don’t want a situation Bolga East is faced with Mathew Silas Amoah been an opposition MP and when the NDC is doing 8 years in power, we are going to be having an opposition MP for 8 years NO. Akuritinga Ayine is coming back with John Mahama”.
“So, based on the account of the record that we have between 2013 and 2016, when we hit the road running from 2025, you will see the level of development in this place”.
He tasked the media to scrutinize the record of the NPP candidate Mathew Silas Amoah by asking him question about the record of his government in this constituency.
