EC says results calculation was not accurate and changes figures for total valid votes to fit in, says it was accidental.
The chairperson of the electoral commission of Ghana, came out this morning to say that their calculations was not accurate following Twitter Mathematicians calculations yesterday.
The Chairperson in her Declaration yesterday quoted a different figure as Total valid Votes cast.
“The Chairperson of the electoral commission inadvertently used 13,433,573 as total valid votes cast. The total valid votes cast is 13,119,460” the Commission confessed to the act in a release.
This indicates the opposition party has a point in rejecting the election results, branding it as flawed.
