In an interview on the Class Morning Show (CMS) on Class91.3FM, Mr. Koranteng discussed the possibility of forming a third political force by aligning with the smaller parties.
However, he dismissed the idea, arguing that strength in politics comes from shared ideologies rather than consolidation. He believes that joining forces with these smaller parties and independent candidates only weakens and exposes oneself, challenging the perception that it strengthens the political landscape.
During an interview with Koku Lumor, he asserted that the independent candidates and smaller parties are in fact creations of the NPP and NDC. He emphasized that these parties have intentionally created a false perception that aligning with them would strengthen one’s position, when in reality, the opposite is true. According to him, consolidating with these groups weakens and exposes an individual or party.
Furthermore, he shared that in 2019, he personally approached numerous political parties and independent candidates with the intention of forming an alliance. However, some responded by bluntly accusing him of sabotaging their plans. As a result, he believes that it is more perilous to forge alliances with the wrong people, rather than pursuing an independent path or working closely with a select few. He emphasizes that consolidation should be based on shared ideology and a genuine commitment to serving Ghana.
During an IPAC meeting, Mr. Koranteng shared an incident where he was asked to leave by smaller political parties who believed he posed a risk of leaking their secrets to the public. He expressed surprise at being excluded and emphasized his goal of normalizing the political environment and working towards a better Ghana.
“I was in the IPAC meeting, and can you believe it, the smaller political parties had me escorted out? They pressured Bossman Asare to remove me, claiming that I would listen to their secrets and expose them to the public. I was shocked because I am a political entity aiming to bring about normalcy and improvement in Ghana. I believe we should work together, but unfortunately, all the political parties voted to have me expelled from IPAC. Can you imagine?” Mr. Koranteng asked in disbelief.

“They made sure Bossman Asare forced me out, arguing that I am not a political party and therefore should be excluded.
