Melissa Satta has given a vivid interview of what caused her divorce with Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng. The relationship between the pair appeared to be on rocks before their separation after they spent time away from each other. Satta and Boateng had been married for 4 years and have a six-year-old son, Maddox Boateng. The sassy Italian model and TV presenter was however accused of philandering after she was pictured with one particular man on several occasions. The man in question is Matteo Rivetti, entrepreneur, son of the former owner of the Stone Island brand. But according to Satta, who feels hurt by the insinuations, there is no kind of connection between her and the aforementioned man. “I don’t usually make videos of this type, but this time I feel obliged”, the former tissue began, referring to an article published by Chi. “They wrote that I have a flirtation with a man, a gentleman whom I don’t know and have never seen, and among other things I learned that this person has a beautiful family, is married and has two children.” “I am living a very special moment in my life, very painful, as you know, and I am trying to live it within the four walls of my house, also protecting my son. It’s very difficult to manage, but I’m trying to do my best, ”added Melissa, who, by her own admission, has learned to live with gossip, but not when the limits are exceeded. “I’ve been doing this job for sixteen years, I know how gossip works. If they photograph me with someone, when that happens, there will be no problems, but it will not be a married person with children and already committed because that is something I would never do. I’m sorry for myself, but also for this person who found himself in the newspapers for no reason. Enough of this freedom to tarnish the lives of others, I also have feelings, I feel pain, even if I try not to always show them on social networks,” Satta remarked. The two had reunited after a first moment of crisis, the reasons for which were never disclosed, and it seemed that things had started working again between them, until the definitive break, also made official via social media with a joint declaration, on 21 December. I wanted to quit football because of Lionel Messi
Kevin-Boateng joined Barcelona from Sassuolo in January, 2019 to strengthen the Catalans after Louis Suarez had picked up an injury. However, he struggled through his six months stay and failed to register any goal for the side. The Ghanaian has revealed that sharing the same dressing room with the Argentine made him contemplate on quitting football because he realized the Barcelona ace was too good for him to play with him in the same team. “The six months at Barcelona were incredible,” Boateng told DAZN . “At first, I didn’t believe it. I thought it was Espanyol who wanted me, not the real Barcelona! “Training with Messi left me speechless. I had always said that Cristiano Ronaldo was the best in the world, but Messi is something else. He’s not normal. “While training with him, I felt inadequate for the first time in my career. He was doing incredible things. I felt like saying, ‘I’m done, I’m going to quit playing!’” Boateng has become something of a journeyman in his career, playing for teams in England, Germany, Italy and Spain. Though his career has included stops at major clubs such as Tottenham, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona, Boateng admitted that he could have potentially accomplished more. During his stint at Spurs between 2007 and 2009 in particular, Boateng said he looked to off-field extravagances to cover up for his on-field issues. “When I was young, at Tottenham, it’s true: I bought three luxury cars in one day, but there was so much pain inside me,” he said. “I was trying to buy happiness. I wasn’t happy. I wasn’t playing. I wasn’t well and so I was looking for something else. Sure, I would change that part of my past. “Often, I trusted only my talent and, with the talent I have, without being arrogant, I could have done a lot more. Although, I have had a beautiful career anyway.” In the latter part of his career, Boateng has also focused on off-field activism, speaking out frequently against racism. Despite a host of ugly incidents across Europe recently, Boateng said that he has yet to see nearly enough change. “In football, nothing has changed since 2013,” Boateng said. “Maybe a few more fines, but nothing has changed. It’s sad. It still happens. And it happens too much. “Change comes from FIFA and UEFA. Us footballers, we’re important, we try to speak, we use social media, we use interviews, but if it doesn’t start from above, it’s difficult for us. “In 2013, I was saying, I hope that the kids in a few years don’t know what racism is, and instead they’re now hearing us talk more about it today than yesterday.” Pulse Ghana Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications
