Popular and controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has come out to deny claims of being married to Judy Austin, stating that their relationship is solely focused on creating skits together.
This revelation comes in response to a lawsuit filed against Yul by his ex-wife, May Edochie, who accused him of adultery and filed for divorce.
During a recent court session at the FCT High Court in Abuja, where the case was scheduled for a hearing on March 5, Yul clarified that there is no legally recognized union between him and Judy.
May’s legal team, led by Emeka Ugwuonye of Due Process Advocates, stated that Yul claimed a negative blog was spreading false information for financial gain, especially regarding any content featuring him and Judy.
While May’s petition mentioned a traditional marriage ceremony between Yul and Judy that allegedly took place on April 24, 2022, in Anambra State, Yul firmly denied these claims and accused the blog site of spreading misinformation.
The ongoing legal battle between Yul and May seems to be heating up, with both parties presenting conflicting accounts of their relationship and the nature of their connection with Judy in court.
