The beginning of this month, Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland were all charged with felony domestic violence in Orange County, California, and while he denied the accusations when they were first brought against him back in 2020, Adult Swim has now decided to sever ties. “Adult Swim has ended its association with Justin Roiland,” Cartoon Network/Boomerang svp communications Mairie Moore said in a brief statement. The network hasn’t even made it halfway through the massive 70-episode order commissioned by the channel back in 2018, so the show will continue with fellow co-creator Dan Harmon serving has lone showrunner – but fans should prepare for some big changes! Roiland also provided the voices for both Rick and Morty (as well as a number of supporting characters), so the misanthropic time-traveller and his put-upon grandson will be recast for the remaining seasons. Roiland was charged with one count of domestic battery with corporal injury, and one count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud or deceit. The woman in question has not been named, but is believed to be someone Roiland was dating at the time of the alleged incident. Several pre-trial hearings have already occurred, and Roiland is due to return to court on April 27. For publication please kindly contact us on +233256336062 or Email apexnewsgh@gmail.com

Michy gives conditions as she finally agrees to feature Shatta Wale
Songstress Michy has sent a reply to Shatta Wale that she is open for business, but nothing personal or intimate. This is in reaction to Shatta Wale’s expensive proposal for a collaboration, and for her to return to the Shatta Movement brand. Michy has accepted the deal, but on two conditions she said must be strictly taken into consideration. Capitalizing on Shatta’s own terms to pay her in cash and not in kind, Michy has named her price; a whooping sum of $150,000. In her opinion, her estranged fiancé is rich enough to meet her demands, or at least call for negotiations.Another condition, she outlined in an interview on Accra FM is that their recordings should be done in public setting or anywhere outside of their home studios. The reason, she said, is that she would not want to offer herself on a silver platter for intimacy of any kind. Michy has promised that when her conditions are met, she would put in her best efforts to fulfill her mandate of entertaining music lovers worldwide. The mother-of-one is also glad her singular action of displaying the SM sign at the ‘Ashaiman to Da World’ has shattered the wall between them.

A popular Ghanaian Showbiz analyst and CEO of Sammy Flex Tv and entertainment Samuel Atuobi Baah known professionally as Sammy Flex has advised musicians in the Upper East region to use Digital platforms as tools to themselves. According to Sammy Flex, most musicians in the region are struggling because they decided not to adopt the trending digital platforms across various channels. He said: “If you release a song and leave it on your laptop and on your head you know you have released song, then you are not serious”. “If you are still sharing your Songs through pen drive from one person to the other, you have not started any business yet” He stressed However, he encouraged Upper East musicians to take advantage of platforms such as Sound Cloud, Youtube and more to market their music online. However, the seminar was massively attended by musicians and media personalities from across all parts of the region. Source: Apexnewsgh.com
