Famed Zimbabwean gospel artiste, Kudzaishe Nyakudya, has been assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by three unknown men who reportedly walked away with an undisclosed amount of money. According to a statement by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the incident happened on Thursday around 5:00 pm. He became a victim of the three unidentified men after the men pounced on him while he was dropping his friend at Corner Elizabeth Windsor and Newstead Rd, Marlborough in Harare. Prior to the kidnapping and assault, his friend was attacked and the men also took an undisclosed amount from him. After taking money and some valuables, the unidentified men dumped the artiste. BREAKING NEWS: Armed Robbers killed another illustrious soul in Upper East Region
A local based musician cum nurse with the Bawku West District Hospital in the Upper East Region has been reportedly shot and murdered by suspected armed robbers on the popular Bolgatanga-Bawku road. The deceased, 31-year-old Ishmael Pumi Bashiru also known as Prince is said to have been attacked by the alleged armed robbers this morning at the Tilli stretch of the Bolgatanga-Bawku road in the Bawku West District and shot at close range on his face several times. He was reportedly rushed to the Bawku West District Hospital for medical care but was transferred to the Tamale Teaching Hospital where he passed on.
