Arsenal make £45m move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Partey
Arsenal have made a late move to sign Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid before tonight’s transfer deadline, Goal has learned. The Ghana international – who has a release clause of £45 million (€50m/$58m) – has been a priority target for the Gunners all summer. Discussions with Atletico have taken place during the past few months, with Arsenal hoping to land the midfielder for a fee less than his release clause, but Atletico have consistently stated that the only way Partey will be leaving this summer is if that clause is activated. Is false that Asamoah Gyan is demanding $500.000 to play Asante Kotoko- Samuel Addo
Ex Black Stars Asamoah Gyan’s business manager Samuel Anim Addo has said the speculation that the Ghana striker is demanding an amount of $500,000 [€426,530] from Asante Kotoko before joining the local giants are false. UER: Defunct Bolgatanga Sports stadium now marijuana base for local champions
The Defunct Bolgatanga Sports Stadium which has been neglected for years has now turned out to be a hideout for marijuana smokers and a place of convenience for commuters. The facility which many says was established in the era of the then military head of state of Ghana, Ignatius Kutu Acheampong, has suffered various forms of neglect from past and present governments to the extent that its walls now begins to fall apart. The situation which can neither be traced nor explained by stakeholders, only compel residents especially sporting lovers to conclude that there was no hope for sporting activities in the region. Ayine Daniel, says, “We have good sporting brothers and sisters here in the region but we don’t have good sporting fields for training. Bolga here there is no sporting center that we can boost of. FIFA President extends condolences to families of footballers who perished in a car accident
The President of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Mr. Gianni Infantino has expressed his condolences to the footballers involved in Saturday’s terrible car accident on the Offinso road.
