UER: I don’t handle party money, i only give the communication team a piece of fatherly advice —Lawyer Anthony Namoo

Upper East Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party Lawyer Anthony Namoo said, he only gave the communication team a piece of fatherly advice and do not handle party money as accused by one disgruntled Wilson Dabuo. Apexnewsgh.com report According to the Regional Chairman, who was accused by a former member of the regional communication team Wilson Dabuo of collaborating with the Regional Communicator Director Sanusi Issah in making life difficult for communicators by way of squandering money meant for them. Lawyer Namoo said the allegation by the former communication member is baseless because as a party chairman, he doesn’t handle party money. He spoke to Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com exclusively. “Communication Team money doesn’t come to my hand, it doesn’t come to the regional secretariat, and at the regional secretariat, the treasurer handles money. Money doesn’t keep long in my hand, if money comes to my hand the treasurer takes it. So, communication team money doesn’t come to me”. “The phones Wilson talks about, I never even held the phones to myself. Somebody gave them 54 pieces of phones and as a regional chairman, myself and my executives suggested to them that once the base of the party is at the constituency, they should make sure that at least each constituency received 2 and that is 30 and then, the 24 left they can share it among the regional communication team. So, I don’t think this one is anything”. He said “I remembered once telling them that, anytime somebody comes and give them substantial money, don’t share everything, you keep some for a rainy day and this was a piece of fatherly or brotherly advice. Like for example, somebody comes to greet and maybe say, take Ghc 20,000.00 and give to the communication team and they sit there and shared among themselves and I said, I know sometimes, it will take time for money to come so why can’t you keep like, if somebody comes and gives let’s say Ghc 20,000.00, you can keep Ghc 5,000.00 and share the rest. Later on, somebody may have a funeral, outdooring, or marriage ceremony and you use the same money to help yourselves but am not sure the advice was followed. He stated Lawyer Namoo said, he is not the kind of person that is too hungry for money because he is pleased with what God has blessed him with. Meanwhile, responding further to the allegation of changing the original phone brands donated by the Buffer Stock CEO to the regional communication team, Lawyer Namoo directed the accuser Wilson Dabuo to go back to his home town Upper West region and verify whether the phone brands were changed and not because same was donated to other regions of the north and not only Upper East. “The Phone that the man gave the communication team was across the board, he gave some in Upper West, Upper East, Savanna and North East Region. So, they were the same type of phones, somebody is going to give you a phone and you don’t know the kind of phone the person is bringing, so were you going to mobilize phones of that quantity to change? Because, the phone was given in a programme in the full glare of all constituency executives, we were over 100 people and it was received and handed over to the communication team. If Wilson doubts to brand of the phone, he should go to his home town Upper West and find out whether it wasn’t the same phone he gave. Latest plot against Bawumia exposed; NAPO, Kyei Mensah, others named main targets

Even before the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gives the green light for persons seeking to contest as flagbearers to succeed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ahead of 2024 to campaign, there appears to be a plot to incite delegates against the candidature of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. Prominent persons who have also been targeted include the Minister of Energy Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs who doubles as Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu. The latest comes barely weeks after some top journalists and producers in Accra, were coached to start an image smear campaign against the second gentleman of the state. The journalists including some producers of popular political programmes it would be recalled were expected to target Akan-dominated areas and whip up the tribal and religious card in order to court disaffection for Dr Bawumia. Among other issues that topped the discussions include; the use of some local radio stations and Assembly members to sell the candidature of Mr. John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten to market women in order to create ‘NO Alan NO VOTE’ mantra in the Ashanti Region considered the World Bank of the NPP. UER: “I gave Wilson Dabuo a brand new motorbike, I gave him a phone and pay his debts–Sanusi Issah

The Upper East Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sanusi Issah has refuted the accusation and allegation made against him by one Wilson Dabuo a former member of the Regional Communication team, says Wilson Dabuo benefitted a lots from his leadership. Apexnewsgh.com reports Mr. Dabuo had earlier accused and described Mr. Sanusi Issah as a weakling leader who could not fight for the interest of communicators in the region. He later accused Mr. Sanusi of collaborating with the Regional Chairman to change the original brand of phones donated to communicators by the Buffer stock CEO in 2020. “…the fact is that, as a Director in charge of communication of the region, you are part of the executive, it is a fact that the constitution mandates the executive to appoint but, the appointment of the regional director of communication comes with the support base of communicators, we supported him thinking that he would have come in to be a man of himself but he is shown, he is a weakling and could not fight for the interest of communicators in the region. And so, he is been manipulated here and there and used to do things that go a long way to affecting the motivation level of communication in the region. Mr. Dabuo said. Meanwhile, when Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com seeks the response of the accused in the person of Sanusi Issah, the Upper East Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) he said, the whole thing started after he took Wilson Dabuo out from the Regional Party Communication platform. He refuted the accusation against him as the NPP Regional Director of Communication as he stressed, that is only God that will be the judge between himself and the former regional communication member Wilson Dabuo “Is only God that will intervene between myself and him, only God knows what I have done for him as an individual and as a member of the communication team. I gave him a brand new motorbike, I paid his debts, I gave monies for him to repair his car. “Now what is the issue?. You are no longer here in the region, when he made a certain comment, i told him, I want him to stay away for a while and i will see what i can do and immediately, he came and informed me he had a job at Winneba that he will be packing to Winneba. So, if you are living at Winneba, what business do you have as a communicator in the Upper East Region? Even in Winneba he texted me that I can still help him with some coins if I have, with some words like ‘hard-working Director’ bla bla. “I took him out of the communication platform and he gave me a message to explain why I took him off and I was even about to tell him, because he is no longer in the region and because that has been the situation for any communicator outside the region Bediako was even a founding member of the communication team in the region and was removed from the platform, Salahudeen we took him out of the platform, Inusah and co were removed. So, why will (WILSON) own be different? He questioned According to Mr. Sanusi, he will not reduce himself by engaging a character such as Wilson Dabuo who has benefitted a lot from him individually and as a Communication Director through his excess demanding skills and ungratefully decides to attack him in the media. He said Wilson Dabuo has a lifestyle of buying things on credit without making payments which will normally result in people following him up and down for their monies which he will never pay back and later (He) Sanusi end up paying the debts on his behalf. Responding to the allegation of not taking care of the communicators, Mr. Sanusi said he was not trained to be going around shouting the help he is rendering to colleague communicators which he Wilson Dabuo is a good example. “I gave Wilson a brand new motorbike, i gave him a phone, as for money I can’t even talk about it. He goes to patrol station to buy fuel and he won’t pay, there are people he still owes, so why will i be worried about such a character”. he asked Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. NPP communicators, serial callers on strike over unpaid monthly stipends

It has emerged that the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) pays its communicators and serial callers a monthly stipend of GHS300 and GHS200 respectively. According to reports coming from the Bono Regional NPP office, the party’s communicators in the region are on strike over the non-payment of their monthly stipends. However, serial texters, as well as people who send WhatsApp messages on the ticket of the party, are not paid a dime. The Sunyani East Constituency Communications officer of the party; Maxwell Mahama, confirmed the strike to Kwame Appiah Kubi, host of ‘Ghana Yesom’ morning show on Accra 100.5 FM, today, Monday, 25 October 2021. According to him, his colleagues in the region took the decision to embark on the strike because of the lack of fairness in the disbursement of the monthly stipends on the part of the Regional Chairman, Mr. Kwame Baffoe known in the political circles as ‘Abroye DC’. He said the disbursement of the monthly stipend to support the party’s communicators has been riddled with petty corruption and nepotism. He alleged that the Regional Chairman takes delight in sharing the money among his cronies in the region instead of the rightful beneficiaries. “The Regional Chairman has over the years been selective in the disbursement of the stipends to the beneficiaries. Trust me, if you’re not in his good books what you deserve, for working for the party at that level will not be paid,” he said. Mr. Mahama also accused Abronye DC of dividing the front of the party in the region, hence the party losing the majority of the parliamentary seat in the region. —mynewsgh Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. NPP must rule for 60 years – Boakye Agyarko

Former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko has said the ruling New Patriotic Party must rule Ghana for about 60 years to position the country well for economic prosperity and development. According to him, the NPP has demonstrated over the past five years since gaining power that it is capable of transforming Ghana if stays in government for a longer period. “…so after breaking the 8, then we hand over power to NDC? absolutely not. My intention for this party is to become the dominant political force on the political space. So that there would be no challenger to the NPP in any election that we go. So that every election, election after election we will continue rule. The Japanese Liberal Party has been in power for 54 years, the PRI of Maxico has ruled for 71 years so NPP ours must be 60 years”. Mr.Boakye Agyarko said this Sunday, October 17,2021 while addressing the party at Eastern Regional Annual Delegates Conference held at Kyebi. The comment by Boakye Agyarko comes less than 48 hours after the Director of Operations at the Presidency Lord Commey was criticized for stating that he was committed to ensuring that the NPP will continue to reign for a longer period dismissing the ‘breaking the eight’ mantra. Boakye Agyarko however stated that this could be possible only when the party remains united ahead of 2024 and the party supporters are motivated enough to work harder. The General Secretary John Boadu who delivered the keynote address said, “breaking the 8” will not be on a silver platter. According to him, the party has learned enough lessons from the era of former President John Agyekum Kuffuor who introduced great pro-poor policy interventions such as the National Health Insurance Scheme, Free maternal care in addition to improved economic indicators yet the NPP was voted out in 2008. Mr. Boadu, therefore, indicated that the NPP is investing more in strengthening communication and publicity of major government achievements for the Ghanaian populace to buy into the vision of the party and how it intends to improve their living standards and position Ghana on the world map. The regional delegate Conference was flooded by banners and posters of aspirants who have declared to contest Regional and National Positions. The biggest and high quality banner which radiated tremendous charisma and attracted much attention was that of Frederick Opare Ansah, a former Member of Parliament for Suhum Constituency who has declared his intention to contest John Boadu as General Secretary. Meanwhile, Micheal Oteng Adu a former New Juaben South Constituency Chairman of the NPP also shook grounds with his intention to contest the 1st Regional Vice Chairmanship position in Eastern Region. The former Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Dr. Samuel Annor bused hundreds of supporters of Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng from New Juaben North Constituency to conference grounds to cheer and dance. —Starrfm Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. Former DCE for Bolgatanga East ‘fingers’ U/E Regional Minister over rejection of Binduri DCE nominee

Message by former DCE for Bolgatanga East, Emmanuel Abugre Abole to Regional Minister Hello Hon RM, I have read from other platforms that the Binduri candidate who is your District candidate could not make it. Is there any explanation to this rather embarrassing twist of events? Two weeks ago, in your office, you admonished us to do our best to ensure our various candidates are endorsed and by that wanted to prevent me from traveling to Cape Coast to re-engage with my institution until the candidate was confirmed. I did my homework to ensure that open and known saboteur received 100% while I was away. How come you failed woefully to put your house in order and therefore bringing this shame to the President? I personally smell your hand in this unfortunate happening. You have teamed up with the Regional Chairman to cause more harm to the Party. After the Regional Chairman was motivated with some beatings his candidate got 100%. Congratulations to those who gave him that spontaneous treatment I hope you are not heading in that direction. God have mercy on NPP in Upper East and save us from destroyers like you and the Chairman. Religion will play a significant role by way of determining the person becomes the next presidential candidate of NPP– Ben Ephson

Ben Ephson, the Managing Editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper has stated, that religion will play a significant role by way of determining the person becomes the next presidential candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).Apexnewsgh.com reports According to the pollster who spoke on Tuesday’s edition of the ‘Good Evening Ghana’ programme monitored by Apexnewsgh.com he said “If you realized, the Wesley Girls Muslim thing really went into overdrive and I suspect that certain supporters of some of the candidates will use the Muslim card. They will play the religious card, they are going to play it.” He added that such card play will unify the Muslims who may have been voting for another political party. “Now, that will have a double-edged sword because when you play the Muslim card, you are going to unify the Muslims who may have been voting for another political party…that means the Christian vote is going to be split among three or four candidates; that is the danger of the card that could be played.” “as we speak now, most of the candidates who are serious either they are at the various regions where the voting is taking place, or they have highly placed persons within their campaign team to be there and try to get their supporters elected at the various levels… “I believe that, from the 2007 experience where they had 17 leading members, contesting for the slot, I am sure the various mechanisms put in place by the NPP will ensure that three or four or five will be voted for…and it could be very interesting.” He said Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen  Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications.
