The Upper East Regional has responded to the Navrongo Central Member of Parliament Sampson Tangombu Chiragia after he complained of wanting to come home every Friday but can’t due to the unavailability of an Airport in the region. Apexnewsgh.com reports According to the Navrongo Central Member of Parliament during an exclusive interview on the 2022 budget with Apexnewsgh.com, he said not even the controversial Upper East airport was captured in the 2022 Budget, which to him, he saw as very worrying especially with the difficulty the people of Upper East go through from Tamale before getting into the region. He appealed to the government to do something by starting the construction of the Airport for the people of the region. “As for this NPP budget, not even only constituency alone benefitted anything, I will say the whole region was neglected. If you look at the budget, there is nothing there for Upper East Region. We will continue to talk even our airport, is not easy driving from Tamale to Bolga at all”. He lamented He said MPs would always want to come back home every Friday to visit their constituents and return to Accra Monday but because there is no available airport for the region, it makes impossible. “We are saying that in fact, they should be able to do something in such that, we can also go home every Friday and come back on Monday. We don’t mind whichever part of the region they are putting the airport for us, even if they go and put it in Garu, it will still be better than going to Tamale and traveling all the way to Navrongo. However, reacting to the Navrongo MP, the Upper East Regional Minister Stephen Yakubu said, if the MP cannot sacrifice for his people he doesn’t deserve their votes as an MP. “If an MP is in Accra, saying he wants to come home every weekend to see his constituents but because there is no airport he or she cannot come, I don’t think we should even vote for such Member of Parliament. Because such MP should be fighting for me and you to make sure there is an airport here. He should rather come back and sit in the region and those who are will fight for the airport will be allowed to go to parliament”. The Minister stated The Regional Minister Stephen Yakubu gave the rebuttal on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, during a press soiree organized by the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council (RCC). I have no time for a known debtor and ungrateful human being, go and pay the debt you owe the dead– Sanusi fires back at Wilson Dabuo
Upper East Regional Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Issah Sanusi in a response to Wilson Dabuo’s allegations of him shortchanging the plight of Communicators to his gains within three years and also built a mansion and about to marry a second wife, says he has no time for a known debtor and ungrateful human being like Wilson Dabuo. In a response issued by Wilson Dabuo after the disclaimer released by members of the NPP Upper East Regional Communication team on November 7, 2021, he alleged that, “…the corrupt dealings of individuals like Issah Sanusi whose leadership as a Communication Director has shortchanged the plight of Communicators to his gains within a period of three years. When a desktop employee of Vodafone has suddenly built a mansion and is about to marry a second wife, we should all be concerned about his sudden worth. For the Regional Chairman, Anthony Namoo, the only Chairman in Ghana’s parliament with only one seat, I shall devote a whole tribute to his work in the Region and why he continues to be a bad fate for the party in the Region. Wilson Dabuo alleges Meanwhile, Issah Sanusi in his response shared with Apexnewsgh.com said since, his resignation as a Vodafone worker 5 years ago, he had since re-engaged himself as a worker with Ghana Standards Authority in charge of Paga. However, he advised Wilson Dabuo to go and settle the debt he owes the late Alhaji Sumaila and refused to pay before his demise to the family. Below is his full response “I’m busy such that I don’t have time for a known debtor and ungrateful human being. In any case, I have never been a desk officer I was head of customer care executive at Vodafone and resigned 1st February 2017 and received my full benefits before becoming a Director. Even a well focus laborer can build a home let alone someone who has never become unemployed since I became an adult, maybe a well-known debtor who has no credibility might be thinking building a home or house is difficult but well determining personally is able to do so. So if I were him I would have been worried I have not been able to settle the late Alhaji Sumaila debt before his demise though he knew Alhaji was in a bad situation but he refused to settle him. So I will advise him to come and settle late Alhaji’s wife and children they will be much grateful to him as for Esther and co he can think of settling them later. Next time he tells you I’m a desk officer at Vodafone tell him I’m grateful though I left Vodafone 5years ago and now with Ghana Standards Authority in charge of Paga but I will still be better than a worthless incredible debtor” Issah Sanusi alleges Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. Just In: NPP Man accused party communication Director of shortchanging the plight of communicators to …
Wilson Dabuo a disowned member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper East Regional Communication team in his latest response to the disclaimer issued against him by the Regional Communication Team members has further accused the Regional Communication Director Sanusi Issah of shortchanged to the plight of Communicators to his gains within three years. Apexnewsgh.com reports However, in a disclaimer earlier issued by members of the Regional Communication team on November 7, 2021, they disassociated themselves from Wilson’s allegations against the regional communication team and further disowned him as their communication team member in the region. “It has come to the attention of the communication team of the NPP in the Upper East Region that one Mr. Wilson Dabou made certain wild and disdainful allegations on the 26th October 2021 on various platforms regarding the plight of the regional communication team members. As a communication outfit of the party, we wish to state unequivocally that the said personality is not known to us as a member cannot be said to be speaking for on our behalf. We, therefore, wish to collectively disassociate ourselves from such misguided comments he made against the affected individuals and invariably the New Patriotic Party”. The regional communication team disclaimer said. However, Mr. Dabuo said, he will continue to speak truth to power as he further claimed that due to Mr. Sanusi Issah strategy of shortchanging the plight of communicators to his gains within the period of three years he has put a mansion and about to marry a second wife. “ I will continue to speak truth to power and speak out the ills of our party; the corrupt dealings of individuals like Issah Sanusi whose leadership as a Communication Director has shortchanged the plight of Communicators to his gains within a period of three years. Wilson Dabuo stressed Below is the full response Wilson Dabuo writes…. Re: Disclaimer To the Allegations Levelled Against the Communication Team of the NPP By Wilson Dabuo. As I was about to retire to bed at about 8pm last night, a piece of a write up titled the above headline was posted to me. After 30 seconds of glancing through it, I wanted to treat it with such great insignificance until I saw the signatories. Indeed, the occupants of our present society today is full of pretensions. That notwithstanding, I would rather be known in life as an honest sinner than a lying hypocrite and a pathological sycophant. As usual of me I would have ignored it and treated it as elementary, but upon a second thought, I thought that it is important to point out the hypocrisy and dishonesty of the team I came to join as a National Communication Team Member since 2015, until my recent relocation in May 2021. However, there are questions needing urgent attention: what exactly are they disclaiming? What investigation had been carried out to disclaim the claims I made? Since when have they realised that they do not know Wilson Dabuo as part of the Upper East Regional Communications Team and that anything he says now is borne out of naivety and illusion? How could someone who do not understand the modus operandi of the party structure Communicate for same structure on daily basis on all radios in the Region? While at these questions, let me deal with some inaccuracies in the rather pathetic statement. The title of the write up is misleadingly illustrated. It must be put on record that the claims I made in my release were not claims against the Communication members/team of the Upper East Region ( my apologies to them should anyone felt offended) but claims which were directed at the Regional Communications Director, Issah Sanusi and his collaborator, the divisive and controversially vindictive Regional Chairman, Anthony Namoo, whose management of some kind of assorted items and money have led to the deteriorating plights of the communicators. When a thief wants to gain fame, they widen their horizons to catch some sympathy. But, that is exactly what they’ve succeeded with this statement by forcing the signatories of these disgruntled individuals of the Communication team whose idled complaints were louder than a faulty train system. Another embarrassing display of dishonesty and may be a closest of its description is the clear manifestation of sycophancy, seeking to create the impression that they do not know me, Wilson Dabuo, anywhere in the Region’s Communication Team. Like seriously? This is an insult to the evidence out there in the Region, in particular to you the media men and women and your listenership in the Region. It insults your intelligence as Media Houses. Ridiculous! Who corrupted these guys? Frankly, I have very respected friends among the signatories, man like Johnson, Joseph Singh and Edmund, and thus my conscience incapacitate me to describe what I feel about the entire statement. As for Samuel Akonga, I can understand his nature. He’s a human in a wolf’s clothes, he behaves as a priceless prostitute who teams up with colleague communicators and later sell them out. Very restless with information. He is struggling for loyalty in the Region, and anyone dealing with him should do so with great courage of caution. I understand, he single-handedly wrote that pathetic statement. I believe it! The statement speaks volume of his grammatical deficiencies. Otherwise, there are two great teachers I know in there who speaks very well and certainly wouldn’t write up such cheap words.
