Tensions between Russia and the USA will heighten, with Putin and Biden at loggerheads. A big politician will be caught in a major sex scandal. Donald Trump will face prosecution. A major drawn out drama will unfold at Ghana’s Parliament on the night of January 6. One that will keep the entire nation awake all night; a drama like never before. There will be by-elections this year. Arsenal will end the season in top 4 of the EPL. A very big politician will be on trial this year. A very big African statesman will be buried in January. The Supreme Court will rule that the petitioner could not provide any material evidence, in terms of actual numbers, to justify the run-off he is seeking against either Jean Mensa or Akufo-Addo. PS: None of the above has been revealed to me for you to pray over them for redemption. Sorry, if I disappointed you by not adding any deaths. That is too cheap and, in fact, evil. Well, at least, I came close with No. 11 and that one was very easy.” Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. Social media goes crazy for Clemento Suarez as he perfectly mimics Nana Ama McBrown on live TV

Time and time again, comedian Clemento Suarez has proven to be a naturally gifted copycat who is readily able to assume the character of every personality when it comes to acting. He once again proved this point on New Year Day when he appeared on a segment during the UTV/Peace Fm Day with the Stars on Friday. Appearing as the gorgeous host of United Showbiz, Nana Ama McBrown, Clemento Suarez together with other comedians re-enacted the episode of the show that saw comedian and actors, Lilwin and Funny Face engage in a brawl on live TV. To assume the ideal character and look of Nana McBrown, he added a feminine touch to his dressing, and with his witty acting, he got social media praising him and expressing delight about his talent. This will not be the first time Clement Ashiteye as he is personally referred to has earned praise for being a good mimic. He has in the past had social media showering him with praise as he on several occasions mimicked the voice and mannerism of Ghana’s late former President, Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings. Your arrogance won’t be condoned going forward – Ken Agyapong warns Akufo-Addo appointees

Assin Central lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong has begun his attacks on the party appointees whose arrogance gave the party problems in the 2020 elections. The maverick politician says the party’s base were not treated fairly and going forward it’s imperative that such things do not happen. He disclosed that contracts were given out to stalwarts in the NDC by Akufo-Addo’s appointees when people who had sacrificed for the party wallow in impoverishment and pain. “Some things make me angry. Can you imagine that even Rawlings was given contracts? Look at the way we treated the party people. Look at the work Akufo-Addo did, he cannot do everything that his why he appointed these people but arrogance is what they satisfied. When Rawlings coughs then they start to run.” You see the effort the party people put into the work to ensure that the party wins but we came to power and sidelined our own people. Ali Seidu stood in front of me in the presence of the Roads Minister to tell me that he has 27 road contracts. The NPP guys go for the contracts and give it to Ali Seidu,” he said on Accra-based Net2TV. The NPP stalwart indicated that it’s time the NPP builds its contractors by giving them contracts and stop giving the excuse that the NDC has the best contractors. It’s time to start prosecuting EC officials for alleged wrong doing – Ayikoi Otoo

The time has come for officials of the Electoral Commission (EC) who were found to have engaged in electoral fraud to be put before the courts to answer questions, Nii Ayikoi Otoo, Ghana’s High Commissioner to Canada, has said. The former Attorney General under the Kufuor administration made the comments while speaking on TV3’s Key Points programme on Saturday January 2. The discussion was on the election petition filed at the Supreme Court by the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama. The NDC and Mr Mahama on Wednesday December 30 filed the petition at the apex court which seeks, among other things, a rerun of the presidential elections, asking the Court for an order to restrain Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Second Respondent, from holding himself out as President-elect. Mr Ayikoi told host of the programme Abena Tabi that “You find out that in the law, it is not only people who come to commit offences who are held liable but even officials of the EC could be also be held liable for having done wrong things. “It is about time we started putting some of them before court. “There was one on social media where some body was alleged to have opened a private polling station for children, he was arrested and was begging.” Regarding the election petition, he said that the NDC has a bigger responsibility to prove their case in court after filing an election petition challenging the results of the December 7 elections. He said that they will need to present an evidence to prove that no presidential candidate in the election crossed the 50+1 to win. “They are saying nobody crossed the 50+1. So they have a bigger responsibility in my view, to [prove]. He added “The idea that was fed out to the public was that somebody has done something wrong and that we have won the presidential and parliamentary but if you read the petition there is a clear request for a rerun which is based upon the fact that constitutionally nobody crossed the 50+1.” “That is a different ball game altogether compared with what we were hearing before the petition was filed. “You should be bold to say that ‘I won the election, this person did not win the election but their style is different.” For his part, a private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu proposed that the electoral laws should be amended to allow respondents in an election petition to be served electronically. Mr Kpebu said “If the parties and the court intend to insist on the time that have been allocated it will mean in practical terms we will go beyond 42 days . As we sit now since the president has not been served they can’t start. “So it means that if it takes one week or seven days to serve the president, it means you have 42 + 7. If the judges want to give us 42 days then they may have to give up part of their time. “Moving forward the next time we are going to have an election, there should be a column where we will say that the candidates should provide their email address for service in the event of an election petition so that electronically you can be served. I can’t imagine trying to get security clearance to go and serve him. It is ridiculous.” 3 News Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications

Woman after my own heart – Haruna Iddrisu pens love letter to Joyce Bawa Mogtari

Member of Parliament for Tamale South Haruna Iddrisu has penned down a love letter to the special aid to the former President John Maham, Joyce Bawa Mogtari. Celebrating the birthday of Joyce Bawa who turned a year on Friday, January 1, 2020, Haruna Iddrisu showed his sweet side. In the letter Daily News Ghana sighted Haruna Iddrisu describe Joyce Bawa as a woman after his own heart. “Joyce Bawah Mogtari is a woman after my own heart as a language enthusiast, sapiosexual and conscientious feminist.” Read the full post below. “Joyce Bawah Mogtari is a woman after my own heart as a language enthusiast, sapiosexual and conscientious feminist. I first got fascinated and hypnotised by her eloquent and well-reasoned political communication on TV. Since then, I have come to admire and adore her greatly with capital G. Auntie Joyce is a very beautiful woman of royal mien. She stands on her own clouts and checks a generous number of boxes of a complete woman. Mother. Role model. Name it. Of course, she is not just an enchanting spectacle of God’s most valued impressions. But she is a scriptural in-text citation of modesty and magnanimity; too kind to a fault. Say, a bundle of virtuousness! Even more, is the effortless manner in which she expresses her critical thoughts – like a knife through butter. She communicates critical ideas with impressionable fluidity. But then, her oratory prowess is in tandem with the fine lawyer that she is. I love to refer to her as the “resplendent” and “evergreen” Joyce Bawah Mogtari. As a logophile with great hesitation for word abuse, I sparingly precede names with these adjectives except for women with intimidating appreciation of “Calculus”. Happy birthday Auntie Joyce Bawah Mogtari. God bless your new age.” – Daily Mail Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications
