With over 15 years of experience in brand strategy, public relations, and stakeholder engagement, Atuguba has played key roles in both the public and private sectors.
Atuguba’s impressive career began as a journalist with Ghana Television in 2005, where she eventually co-hosted the network’s breakfast show. She later became the pioneer Corporate Communications Manager and spokesperson for RLG Ghana, collaborating with government agencies to implement the ICT module of Ghana’s Youth Employment Programme (NYEP).
In 2015, Atuguba joined the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) as a Public Relations officer, where she spearheaded major PR initiatives, redefined corporate communication strategies, and enhanced stakeholder engagement. Currently, she serves as the Head of Stakeholder Engagement at GRIDCo and is also an adjunct Public Relations lecturer at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) in Accra.
Atuguba’s appointment at SIGA is expected to strengthen the agency’s operational efficiency and oversight of state-owned enterprises, reinforcing its mandate to ensure accountability and improved governance in the management of public assets.
Her extensive experience and expertise will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to SIGA as it works to promote transparency and good governance in Ghana’s public sector.
