Nhyiaeso MP Dr. Stephen Amoah Dismisses “Fake” Report on NPP’s Electoral Performance

Dr. Stephen Amoah, the Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso Constituency, has vehemently rejected a report on the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) electoral performance in the Ashanti Region. Apexnewsgh reports

The report, which was issued by some regional executives of the party after the 2024 elections, allegedly accused Dr. Amoah of having an alternative campaign team and not using posters and billboards.

Dr. Amoah described the report as “fake” and “baseless,” describing the accusations as “unwarranted” and “unjustified.” He described the report as damaging to the party’s unity and credibility and called for an official apology from the executives behind the report.

In an interview with Hello FM on Monday, March 3, Dr. Amoah expressed his frustration with the unfounded allegations. “No one reached out to me, nor did they consult anyone from my constituency to gather the facts. They simply fabricated these claims,” he said.

The report has stirred controversy within the NPP ranks in Ashanti, with some party members calling for an internal review of how such claims were allowed to circulate. Dr. Amoah warned that if the executives behind the report do not apologize, he and others will speak out on the real reasons behind the party’s loss.
