The operation, which targeted 11 hotspot locations within the capital, serves as a critical component of the GIS’s broader initiative to enforce immigration laws and restore order in the city’s commercial and public spaces. Authorities reported that the arrested individuals included 384 adult males, 525 adult females, as well as 577 male children and 755 female children.

This large-scale enforcement action is part of a nationwide drive to address urban congestion, enhance public safety, and tackle potential human trafficking and child exploitation issues. By focusing on the welfare of vulnerable individuals, particularly minors, the GIS underscores its commitment to protecting those most at risk.

Officials from the GIS have assured the public that they will continue collaborating with various agencies to uphold the law, ensuring that the cases of those arrested are processed through the proper legal channels. As the initiative progresses, the GIS remains steadfast in its mission to maintain a safe and orderly environment for all citizens and visitors in the capital.
