Member of Parliament (MP) for the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Agyei has accused the rejected President nominee of Juaben Mr. Alexander Sarfo Kantanka for the terrible beating he received at the hands of some aggrieved youth.
The MP made the accusation in an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM monitored by Apexnewsgh.com on Monday, “…i know for sure that they were sent by the nominee to beat me up. I can’t tell why he did that because I have no problems with him. I went there only as an observer for the Ashanti Parliamentary Caucus so there was no way that I could have influenced the outcome of the elections.”
He further narrated, how five police officers escorted him into his car before he was able to escape the scene.
“I was whisked away by the police and given cover at the police station for some time; I had to be escorted into my car by five senior police officers before I was able to leave the town”, he added.
