He stated that if he becomes President, there will be no mining in water bodies and forest reserves under his leadership.
Kyerematen emphasized the need to empower locals in the mining sector by introducing a business model that allows for meaningful participation. He also highlighted the importance of access to finance for small-scale miners to acquire modern equipment for responsible mining practices.
The former trade minister expressed disappointment in the lack of progress in Ghana despite the continuous change in power between the NPP and NDC parties. He urged the people to consider a new candidate in the upcoming elections, emphasizing his commitment to building modern markets and providing support to traders.
Kyerematen promised to establish a Traders Bank to offer loans to improve trading activities and reduce import taxes to lower costs for consumers. He called for politicians to prioritize the interests of Ghana over party affiliations and urged voters to support a candidate who can bring positive change to the country.
