Ato Forson challenged finance Ministry to issue statement following the alleged salaries of former First and Second Ladies

The former Deputy Minister under the former President John Dramani Mahama’s administration Cassiel Ato Forson has challenged the Ministry of Finance to issue a statement to clear the air over what he described as ‘FAKE NEWS’ regarding the payment of salaries to former First and Second Ladies.

According to the former Deputy Minister, there was no such provision for the payment of First and Second Ladies.

“As a Deputy Minister responsible for budget from April 2016 to Jan 2017, I can state categorically that the Ministry NEVER PAID these purported salaries to both First and Second Ladies”
