Black Sherif wins first BET Award for ‘Best International Flow

On October 3, 2023, Black Sherif achieved a significant milestone in his career by winning his first BET award for “Best International Flow” at the 2023 Hip Hop Awards.

He emerged triumphant from a pool of ten talented rappers, including three Africans: Aka and K.O from South Africa, and Sampa The Great from Zimbabwe, as well as Gazo from France, Central Cee and J Hus from the UK, Major Rd from Brazil, Ninho from France, and Tasha & Tracie from Brazil.

Last year, Black Sherif received his initial nomination for “Best International Flow,” but unfortunately lost to Benjamin Epps.

He shared the category with Benjamin Epps (France), Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil) at the 2022 edition of the prestigious awards scheme.
