Isaac Adongo, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, is planned to deliver a public lecture on the economy on 23 June 2021 in Accra.
The Deputy Ranking Member of the Finance Committee will speak on the theme: “Ghana’s Economy: A Victim of COVID19 or Pre-existing Conditions”.
It will be the maiden lecture under the Coalition For Restoration (CFR) Dialogue Series, a thought leadership event initiated by the Coalition to collate and stimulate discussions on issues of critical national importance.
The object of the maiden lecture, which is scheduled for 14:00GMT of 23rd June is to generate a critical mass of ideas through technical discussions on the economy.
According to the organisers, the lecture will be broadcasted live on many radio and TV networks.
In response to the Covid-19 protocols, attendance is strictly by invitation.
However, provisions will be made for patrons to join the lecture via zoom, Facebook Live and other platforms.
