Bongo NDC PC, Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua begins a four Day ‘Thank You Tour

The National Democratic Party’s (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Bongo Constituency in the Upper East Region, Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua, has commenced a Thank You Tour in his constituency. The purpose of this tour is to express his gratitude to the constituents, particularly the NDC party delegates, for electing him as their candidate for the upcoming general elections scheduled for December 7th, 2024.

Following the party’s internal primaries, Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua emerged as the parliamentary candidate for the 2024 General Elections.

The first day of the Thank You Tour was carried out in the Bongo Beo/Adaboya Zone, starting at Sapooro Primary School and concluding at Bongo Zone B (Bogrigo Primary School).

Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua will continue his Thank You Tour tomorrow, Monday 8th January, 2024. He has planned to visit the Valley Zone at the Vea Social Center / Former Chairman’s House, as well as the Zorkor Zone A/B at Zorkor SHS to conclude day two of his tour.

On day three, which is scheduled for Tuesday, 9th December 2024, Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua will visit the Balungu Zone at the Balungu Nabisi Primary School at 1pm. After that, at 3:30pm, he will meet party supporters at the Namoo Primary School. The day’s activities will be wrapped up at the Feo Zone at 4:30pm.

The Thank You Tour will culminate on Wednesday, 10th December, 2024. At 2pm, Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua will be present at the Bongo Soe Zone, and at 4pm, he will visit the Bongo A Zone at the Bongo SHS Park.

During his address to members at the Bongo Beo/Adaboya Zone, Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua emphasized the importance of unity among party supporters now that the internal party elections are over. He stated that a united front is necessary to retain the seat and increase the votes for their Presidential candidate, His Excellence, John Dramani Mahama, in the upcoming 7th December, 2024 General Elections.

Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua’s Thank You Tour will continue on Monday, January 8th, 2024. The Valley Zone at the Vea Social Center / Former Chairman’s House and the Zorkor Zone A/B at Zorkor SHS will be his stops on day two of the tour.

Day three of the tour, scheduled for Tuesday, December 9th, 2024, will see Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua visiting the Balungu Zone at the Balungu Nabisi Primary School at 1 pm, followed by a meeting with party supporters at the Namoo Primary School at 3:30 pm. The day will conclude at the Feo Zone at 4:30 pm.

The Thank You Tour will conclude on Wednesday, December 10th, 2024. The Bongo Soe Zone at 2 pm and the Bongo A Zone at the Bongo SHS Park at 4 pm will be Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua’s final stops.

During his address at the Bongo Beo/Adaboya Zone, Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua emphasized the importance of unity among party supporters after the completion of the internal party elections. He stated that a unified front is crucial in retaining the seat and increasing the votes for their Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, in the upcoming General Elections on December 7th, 2024.

He also expressed his openness to input from all party members and his contenders in the primary, with the goal of achieving a resounding victory and rescuing Ghanaians from the hardships caused by the NPP government. Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua pledged to contribute to the development of the area, ensuring that the Bongo Constituency will experience transformation under his leadership and that of the NDC after the 2024 Elections.

During the tour, Lawyer Charles Bawa-Dua was accompanied by various Constituency Executives of the party, including Charles Apuusah (Constituency Treasurer), Esther Akabzaa (Constituency Women Organiser), Michael Awine Baba (Deputy Constituency Secretary), Edward Asekere (Communication Officer), and Baba Awine (Executive Member).
