Akoto Ampaw, who previously served as the lead lawyer defending President Akufo-Addo’s victory in the 2020 Presidential elections at the Supreme Court, has unfortunately passed away.
In addition to his role as a legal advocate, Ampaw was believed to be a strong candidate for the position of special prosecutor after the President approved the Office of Special Prosecutor Bill.
Lawyer Anthony Ampaw Esq, renowned for his extensive experience in Ghanaian law and his passionate activism for human rights, is well-known as a veteran lawyer in the country.
