Embattled radio personality, Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart has landed a new job at Media General after he was chased out of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) one afternoon.
The outspoken radio host was suspended and removed from air by his former employer in the first week of May 2021 for allegedly criticising the ruling government consistently on his programme on Angel 102.9 FM in Accra.
Although he was expected to be recalled by his former employer in the first week of June, Captain Smart last week announced his resignation from ABN.
Before joining Angel FM, he was a morning show host at Adom FM, a branch of Multimedia where he was chased out over similar complaints.
Today, Media General through one of its TV Stations, TV3 has confirmed the appointment of Captain Smart.
In an unveiling that took place on the New Day programme, it has been confirmed that the award-winning Radio show host will be hosting the Morning show on Onua Fm/TV from Monday to Friday.
The seasoned broadcaster started his radio career in Kumasi before particularly making a big name for himself when he joined Multimedia’s Adom FM.
