The Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) Samuel Kwabena Awuku (Sammy Awuku) as part of his tour to the northern part of the country has visited the Upper East Regional office of NLA.
Explaining why he visited the region in an exclusive interview with Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the Regional office premises he said, “The NLA’s team of Head of Sales and Marketing Corporate Affairs team together with the Deputy Director-General and me the Director-General, we are in a walking visit to Northern Ghana. We have been to Upper West Region to inspect our offices and see how our operations there are going, we have been to the Northern Region and finally, we are here in the Upper East Region.
According to Mr. Awuku, the visit is to familiarize himself with the very conditions his staff are working under and to also encourage them and as well remind them of the new target they all have to meet by the year ending 2022.
However, the Director-General admitted that So far, he has been very impressed with what the Upper East team has done.
“…they have done a yoo man’s job and I wished them everything that’s within my bones” he expressed
