The Upper East Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Salahu-Deen Musah, has expressed confidence that the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East Constituency, Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, will lose his seat in the December 2024 elections. Apexnewsgh reports
Mr. Salahu-Deen made this statement while accompanying the NPP Parliamentary candidate for Bolgatanga East Constituency, Hon Mathew S Amoah, on a visit to engage with the constituency’s chiefs and queen mothers.
According to Mr. Salahu-Deen, the discussions were highly productive, with traditional leaders listening attentively to the policies and initiatives of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the parliamentary candidate. He noted that the “Mathew Effect” – a campaign slogan in support of Hon Mathew S Amoah – has gained popularity and was chanted in most of the areas visited.
Mr. Salahu-Deen emphasized that it became clear during the discussions that Dr. Ayine, the NDC Member of Parliament for Bolga East, will be shown the exit door in the December 2024 elections.
He stressed that the conviction was shared by all, indicating a strong sense of optimism among NPP supporters in the constituency.
