– No. 6 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA, Accra: A deposit of $500,000 was recorded for this property.
– No. 7 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA: $200,000 was deposited for this asset.
– No. 8 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA: An initial deposit of $97,815 was made, with authorities suspecting additional cash payments.
– No. 9 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA, Accra: A deposit of $270,000 was recorded.
– No. 10 Edith Avenue, Mayfair Estates, LA, Accra: The deposit amount for this property stands at $150,000.
Furthermore, the investigation revealed that Adu-Boahene owns Vertex Properties, a company linked to the alleged misappropriation of funds. Vertex Properties reportedly owns 27 houses in Oyarifa, each valued at $295,000. Two additional properties in London have also been tracked, although specific details remain undisclosed.
Dr. Ayine emphasized that the substantial financial outlay for these acquisitions strongly correlates with Adu-Boahene’s alleged misconduct while serving as NSB Director. The investigation aims to recover misappropriated funds and ensure accountability for any financial malpractices.
