Former President John Mahama has strongly criticized the current Akufo-Addo government, accusing them of demonstrating insensitivity towards the needs of Ghanaians by neglecting and abandoning crucial development projects inherited from the previous administration. Apexnewsgh reports
Speaking to party supporters after a 24-hour economy walk in Kwahu over the weekend, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress expressed disappointment at the state of the Abetifi Hospital, which was reportedly left at 70% completion.
Mr. Mahama described the situation as disheartening, suggesting that it would bring tears to one’s eyes to witness the current state of the project.
Highlighting his concerns, Mahama declared that the actions of the New Patriotic Party government have been “wicked” towards the people of Ghana. He vowed that, if elected in the 2024 elections, his government would prioritize the needs and welfare of Ghanaians over political interests.
Mahama’s scathing critique of the Akufo-Addo administration underscores the ongoing debate about development projects and the welfare of citizens in Ghana.
