The Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis Xavier Sosu, has issued an apology for his use of offensive language towards the Akufo-Addo led-government.

During an interview with a GHOne TV reporter at the #OccupyBoG demonstration organized by the Minority in Parliament, Sosu expressed his frustration with the country’s economic difficulties using strong and inappropriate words.

The video of his remarks quickly spread on social media, with many expressing surprise and disappointment in the MP, who is known for his respectful demeanor. Some individuals criticized his language choice, while others condemned his behavior altogether.

Sosu explained that in Ga language, if he were not a Member of Parliament, he would have insulted them and their mothers.
