As a member of the Research Committee for Upper East Region NDC, Vice President of PRO-Forum Northern Region, and Dean of the UDS Nursing and Midwifery School, Dr. Yakong donated 200 branded T-shirts featuring Excellency John Dramani Mahama and Dr. Thomas W Anabah to the Garu Constituency.
This generous gesture was part of her support for the Parliamentary Candidate Dr. Thomas Anaba.
The donations was received by Constituency Organizer, Mr. Akeem Haruna, on behalf of the party, expressing gratitude for Dr. Yakong’s support, he confidently, he declared, “We are winning the seat for the party.”
Dr. Thomas W Anabah, the NDC’s 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for Garu could not hide his excitement, he further thanked Dr. Yakong for her unwavering support, which has enabled him to secure admissions for his constituents into the UDS Nursing and Midwifery school.
Dr. Yakong was accompanied by Mr. Saani Kahuna, a member of the regional research committee and former Assemblyman of Daduri electoral area in Bawku, and Ms. Vida Bengre, regional Coordinator of Pro-Forum Nurses and Midwives.
The event was also attended by Hon. Dominic Azumah Azimbe, former Member of Parliament for Garu, and Mr. Halidu Osman, a member of the Garu Constituency NDC Council of Elders.
With Dr. Yakong’s donation, the constituency’s campaign efforts have received a significant boost, reflecting her commitment to the NDC’s success in the region.
