Ghana Hajj Board Organizes Special Prayers in Arafat, Mecca

The Ghana Hajj Board led by Chairman Ben Abdullah Banda, organized special prayers in Arafat, Mecca, Saudi Arabia, for Ghana and its leadership. Apexnewsgh reports

Arafat, a sacred valley, holds great significance in Islamic history as the site where Prophet Mohammed delivered his last sermon.

On this year’s Arafat Day, Ghanaian pilgrims joined thousands of Muslims worldwide to congregate on the mountain and plane to pray to Allah. The prayer session, led by Ghanaian Islamic scholars, began with a full recitation of the Holy Quran. Subsequent prayers were offered for the country, President, Vice President, and leadership.

Notably, special prayers were made for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, seeking success in his presidential bid in December’s polls. This collective supplication demonstrated the unity and solidarity of Ghanaian Muslims in Mecca, seeking divine guidance and blessings for their nation and leaders.

European Investment Bank, were present at the meeting. The AfDB’s capital increase is expected to have a positive impact on its ability to support African development and drive economic growth.
