The President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has assured the Vice President of the United State of America Kamala Harris of continuous collaboration with the United States of America at all levels.
Even though the President stated that his collaboration with the U.S. will focus at all levels, he also pointed out key areas such as looking towards a peaceful resolution of conflicts and in the search for global peace and security to promote sustainable development around the globe.
“I am happy to state that this afternoon’s meeting has further boosted the steadfast cooperation between us, and Ghana would continue to collaborate with the United States of America at all levels, particularly towards the peaceful resolution of conflicts and in the search for global peace and security to promote sustainable development around the globe”.
The American Vice President has been touring some parts of the African continent.
During her visit to Ghana, she noted, that her visit will be addressing the climate crisis to supply chains, working on increasing investment on this continent.

In particular, on this trip, I intend to do work that is focused on increasing investment on the continent and facilitating economic growth and opportunity specifically in the area of economic empowerment of women and girls, empowerment of youth entrepreneurship and to support the work that must be done to increase food security”.
